What is digital pathology used for?
The short answer is that there are a variety of uses based upon the type of organization and the problem they are looking to solve. For clinical adoption, digital pathology is used for primary diagnosis*. Either in conjunction with, or without, AI algorithms. It is also used for external consultations, peer to peer collaboration and tumor boards.
