All Implementations

We work with you to determine the approach that best meets your organization’s culture, goals, objectives, timeline and financial needs. We can also assist you in evaluating and selecting digital imaging/scanning devices, network requirements, electronic image file archiving, and implementation of other helpful technologies such as voice recognition.

Initial Implementations

Your first interaction with our services team will most likely be during your implementation.  We assign a dedicated implementation manager to you as soon as you become a customer.  This person is your go-to person. They will be with you every step of the implementation process from the first planning call through your go-live, to ensure that the timing stays on track and answer any questions that you may have.

Subsequent Implementations

We also have implementations of solutions or products that you might purchase once have already gone live with your initial implementation.  The process is the same from both a project management perspective and having a dedicated contact assigned to you throughout the duration of each and every project you have with us.  This is just one way we can partner with our customers to make sure that our relationship is a win-win for both of us.

Our training services are clearly defined at the start of any project so that you and your users get all the information, knowledge and hands-on experience they need to be successful from the start.  We employ a train-the-trainer technique so that you will have ‘master users’ who can assist any new or transitioning employees – avoiding the need to involve us constantly.  We offer refresher and more in-depth expert user level courses and can offer training to any new ‘master users’ or other employees, based upon your needs. Our goal is for you to be self-sufficient in the use of our solutions.

We offer a convenient SAAS based solution so your fees adjust based upon your actual usage.  This is a great advantage for organizations as they bring on digital pathology. The initial fees are low, so the risk is low.  Your fees scale as your usage scales – ensuring a positive ROI.

Image Acquisition & Archive

Gestalt’s PathFlow solution includes configurable caching of your slide images for 30, 90, or 180 days for all new cases. We can also enable global long term archiving of images based on specialty, diagnosis, or on a case by case basis, for future retrieval and research purposes. Converting your patient cases to digital allows your business to grow intellectual biobanking data that can be used for data mining and research.


We offer both short-term and long-term storage options for your images.  We convert all images to the DICOM standard and utilize the compression capabilities available from the hardware you are using to provide the most affordable storage options in the market.
